Eurobridge hands over FFB
Article Abstract:
Eurobridge has delivered the first unit of the Foldable Bridge FFB to Germany's Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement. The bridge can span gaps of between 14 and 40 meters. It can be deployed by six people in about an hour. The 4.4-meter wide bridge has a closed deck and can bear loads of as heavy as 110 tons. The bridge bays do not need additional power source as it is folded and unfolded by gravity. Each bridge unit, comprising a 54-meter bridge, is made up of eight modules. Ten of these units were ordered for German military engineers.

Eurobridge GmbH: Dornier subsidiary Eurobridge GmbH to build mobile bridges for Singapore
Article Abstract:
Eurobridge Mobile Brucken GmbH, a unit of Dornier GmbH, has been chosen to supply foldable bridge systems to the Singapore Armed Forces. The company, which has been supplying the bridge systems to Spanish, Austrian and German armed forces, is also expected to deliver the accompanying bridgelaying and transport vehicles. Pioneer units of the Singapore Armed Forces have been using the Dornier foldable bridge system since 1998.
