Final delivery for Joint STARS
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems has delivered its final 17 E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) aircraft (P-17) to the Georgia Air National Guard's 116th Air Control Wing on 23 March 2005. The aircraft is configured to the latest Block 20 standard that features an integrated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computing signal processing architecture, which can be upgraded easily with new technology.
