New Fogs from KVH
Article Abstract:
KVH Industries Inc's line of fibre optic gyros (Fog) are emerging as the choice component of a number of major defense firms. The devices, which are sold under the company's E-Core brand, has been specified by such companies as Contract Assembly and General Dynamics Armament Systems. KVH E-Core Fogs, which have no moving parts, are used for the guidance system of the Mk 81 missile and as components for the antenna stabilizing systems of shipboard satellite communications equipment.
