The Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) and DLO's Defence Supply Chain Operations and Movements (DSCOM) are two of the UK Ministry of Defence key organizations that carry out coordinated planning and management of an operation, including deployment, sustainment and recovery. Operational Logistics Planning in the UK is highly organized and structured, which is very important in current operations where the timing, scope and duration of operations are unpredictable.
