RUAG develops anti-structure munitions
Article Abstract:
Switzerland's RUAG Warhead Division demonstrated two versions of its Modular Explosive Penetrator (MEP) warhead, the MEP-enabled RPG-7 against a 200 mm concrete target and the PzF3 against a 1.2 sandbag emplacement. RUAG are also developing a multipurpose fuze that would allow the user to choose if the MEP detonates within the protection for a 'wall-breaker' effect, or in the usual manner.

Insensitive munitions make the military less accident-prone
Article Abstract:
Policy makers from Western Europe and the US are placing great pressure on defense forces to use safer or 'insensitive' munitions (IM) to prevent inadvertent detonation of the munitions. Two new IM plants are being opened in Europe.
