Article Abstract:
An increasing demand for the bandwidth capacity of communication satellites has paved the way for Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) which is the next-generation narrowband solution to provide connectivity for Ultra High Frequency (UHF) devices and it comprises of four operational satellites and one on-orbit satellite. Launching of MUOS is Department of Defense's topmost priority even with its constraining factors of cost and schedule.

Expeditionary unit water purification program
Article Abstract:
A coalition led by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare and Combating Terrorism Science and Technology Department brought expeditionary unit water purification (EUWP) systems to Biloxi and Pascagoula. The EUWP system provided the hurricane hit area with potable until local services could be restored.
