USAF's Sniper moves beyond simply targetting
Article Abstract:
The Sniper XR is a pod positioned on the US and UK fighter aircrafts for targeting is more helpful than just that. It facilitated the US soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom to capture insurrectionists by marking them with its laser designator, and it spotted a square shape hole in the ground uncovering 20 insurgents and 100 improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
