The nine premiers of Canada are trying to make the federal and provincial levels of government work together to keep the country united. With the exception of Quebec Premier Lucien Bouchard, the First Ministers and Prime Minister Jean Chretien are expected to announce compromises on social policy.

The two faces of Montreal
Article Abstract:
Many peopled think of Montreal as a city torn by the language wars between the francophones and the anglophones but this is misleading. The city is bilingual and this adds to the fun of summertime in a safe and interesting place. A discussion of many positive aspects of the city is presented.
