The elections in Australia in 1998 is about over-promising and under-delivering. Many do not want a Goods and Services Tax (GST), but many also cannot trust these politicians. Prime Minister John Howard knows that his tax package cannot be funded, but he promises it any way. Many claim that GST cannot succeed without rasing more taxes. .
