The Canadian men's 4 x 100-meter relay team was among the gold-medal winners at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Canada broke its record of 18 medals, set in 1992, at the 1996 games. Some people are concerned about how a decrease in funding from Sport Canada will affect the performance of future athletes.
