Former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney, who has been the subject of a joint Swiss/RCMP investigation into alleged improprieties concerning Canada's 1988 purchase of 34 Airbus A-320s, filed suit in Nov 1995 against both the RCMP and the Canadian government. Mulroney claims the investigation has harmed his reputation.
