TZ Ltd., the Sydney-based company, has executed technology partnerships with US giant Textron Fastening Systems (TFS) to develop and commercialize intelligent fastening and assembly technology in the auto and aviation industries and with Alcoa for building applications. The intelligent fastener has a built-in actuator with microchip that responds to connect and disconnect commands from a remote hand-held wireless device.
