MCI WorldCom CEO Bernie Ebbers is not expected to stop from his buying activities even after the completion of the company's deal with Sprint Corp. Ebbers was virtually unknown to the telecommunications industry until his successive acquisition moves, the latest of which is the record- breaking purchase of MCI. The executive's ultimate goal is to create a telecom concern that will surpass the size of AT and T Corp.

Retiring Deloitte CEO built his career on integrity

Jim Copeland, the CEO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu rose steadily on the top and is full of vitality as he retires by June 1, 2003 at the age of 58.
