Non-carbonated beverage maker SoBe has plans to develop a more aggressive business plan and more sophisticated ad campaign. The company also plans to sell a two-thirds share of the business to J.W. Childs Associates which may take the company public before long. The company is at a critical juncture, facing competition from other beverage makers and needing to penetrate more major-city markets.
