Chevrolet Aims to Take Lead From Ford With Nine New Models
Article Abstract:
Chevrolet will introduce new models over the next 20 months, including a new crossover vehicle, the affordable Chevrolet HHR, with a retro design reminiscent of the 1949 Chevrolet Suburban. The pricier Chevrolet SSR will be a combination pickup truck-convertible-2-seat-sports-car. G.M. hopes the nine new models will help the company overtake Ford, which sold almost 3 million vehicles last year, compared to G.M.'s 2.64 million vehicles sold.
