Pepsi: we've got the right star, baby
Article Abstract:
Pepsi-Cola Co has created another memorable and successful commercial with its newest sensation, eight-year old actress Hallie Eisenberg. Eisenberg, now referred to as the "Pepsi Girl," debuted in one Pepsi commercial in 1998. Pepsi and its agency BBDO already knew they had a star by the time they were about to start the 1999 "Joy of Cola" campaign. Pepsi's tracking surveys indicate that its campaign is three times more effective than the usual soft drink ad campaigns.

If ad bugs you, just wait, teh Bunny might show up
Article Abstract:
Energizer has launched a series of parody spots. In classic Bunny style, the ads show the Bunny charging through mock commercials of the kind that viewers love to hate. The ad was created by TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles, CA. The people who created the commercials know that they are dealing with a piece of pop culture. Energizer estimates the Bunny has generated 119 billion commercial impressions over a 12-year period.
