Max Payne and Majestic are two new computer games that incorporate cinematic animation and e-mail, respectively. Priced at $39.99 for Windows 98, Me and 2000, Max Payne works through animated flashback sequences and follows Max as he seeks to avenge the murders of his wife and child. Players' difficulty changes accoding to how well Max proceeds. In Majestic, listed for a $9.99 monthly subscription fee and for use with Windows 95, 98, Me and 2000, players work on a serialized format via a subscription to the Platinum Service on the Electronic Arts web site. E-mails, faxes and instant messages alert players to help stop the conspiracy forces working to stop the Majestic game.

Two new video games called Silent Hill 2 and The Weakest Link are now on the market. Silent Hill 2 is a game published by Konami of America and played on Sony's PlayStation 2. It is about a man searching for his dead wife in a haunted town and sells for $49.99. The Weakest Link is a version of the popular TV game show published by Activision. It sells for $19.99 in the Windows 95/98/ME/XP version and for $29.99 in the Sony PlayStation version.

Pajama Sam 3: You Are What You Eat From Your Head to Your Feet is an intelligent and entertaining educational adventure game for kids about the six food groups. In the game, Pajama Sam must avert a war between the food groups, helping to find the food groups' delegates, who have become lost en route to a peace conference. Despite the happy tone of the game, it successfully avoids the cloying tone that ruins most kids' entertainment.
