America Online Inc (AOL) Pres Bob Pittman is believed to have played a pivotal role in the completion of the merger agreement between his company and media giant, Time Warner Inc. Pittman's important part in the deal is indisputable, being the only executive who have worked for both firms and have an understanding of new and traditional media.
