Dealers scour records in wake of RBC probe

Toronto, Ont.-based RBC Dominion Securities Inc., which is owned by Royal Bank of Canada, is being investigated by the Ontario Securities Commission and other regulatory bodies for improper stock trading. The probe has prompted other investment dealers to review their own dealings to determine whether or not they have engaged in similar procedures.

QSC probes brokers misusing Internet
Article Abstract:
An investigation of possible misuse of online services by stockbrokers has been initiated by the Quebec Securities Commission. The QSC, which will focus on the manipulation of stock prices through misuse of the Internet, has received reports about a former employee of Toronto-Dominion Bank's brokerage operations.

Tracking RBC trading may take months
