Energy giants join LNG race with plant proposal: TransCanada, Petrocan to team up

TransCanada Corp. and PetroCanada want to build a $660 million liquefied natural gas terminal in eastern Quebec. If approved, the planned TransCanada-Petrocan terminal near Riviere-du-Loup could be operational in late 2009, handling about 200 billion cubic feet of gas a year.
