Fast-growing CrossKeys ties in with U.S. giant

CrossKeys Systems Corp., a software development company headquartered in Kanata, Ontario, has signed an agreement with ascend Communications Inc., a computer services firm based in Alameda, CA, to develop new products using both firm's software and networking capabilities. Under the terms of the transaction, the two firms will be charged with the creation and production of new systems featuring CrossKeys' software and Ascend's wide area networks. The move reflects the efforts of CrossKeys to enhance its customer base and expand its operations, according to Steven Spooner, the firm's chief financial officer and vice president.
