Fiorina whips H-P into fighting shape

Hewlett-Packard CEO Carleton S Fiorina has proved she could revitalize an American institution, nearly two years into her 3-year plan to drag the company into the Internet age. Fiorina was hired to reshape the lumbering giant which was in danger of being left behind in the Internet-centric industry. According to Fiorina, HP's future is in incorporating Internet technology into its existing products, including the lowly cash-cow printer, and becoming the one company others go to for all of their technical needs.

Judge: Sex.com was stolen, $65M owed
Article Abstract:
Sex.com and all of its related assets are to be turned over to Gary Kremen. Based on the ruling handed down by US District Judge James Ware on Apr 3, 2001, Stephen Michael Cohen must also pay Kremen $25 million in punitive damages in addition to $40 million in compensatory damages. Kremen, who registered the domain name in May 1994, intends to transform sex.com into a soft-porn site with educational content.
