Good for the goose and for the gamer
Article Abstract:
In the computer action game Half Life, the player sees things from the point of view of a scientist trying to find help to stave of an invasion of aliens through a tear in the space time continuum. In the add-on 'mission pack,' Opposing Force, the player assumes the view point of a soldier ordered to contain the fallout from this failed government experiment, mostly by shooting on sight other persons and aliens. The game has content control to turn off bloody sequences. The reviewer rated it highly, nearly on the same level as the excellent Half-Life.
