International Olympic Committee member Kevan Gosper is determined to rescue the Olympics from the scandals surrounding committee members. Some of the most recent allegations involve fellow Australian Phil Coles, and if charges against Coles are proven, Gosper might achieve the IOC presidency. Gosper has worked to minimize the impact of scandals over the Sydney 2000 competition, and those about the Salt Lake City, UT, event in 2004.
