Article Abstract:

The retirement of baby boomers from full time work, the resultant labor shortage and the current equity markets have forced many potential retirees to reconsider their plans for retiring and opt for part-time jobs to supplement their income. The system of part-time employment provides a shift for baby boomers from full time work to part-time work with a certain degree of flexibility without any possible threat to casual employment rules.

The Australian economy may be affected by the slowdown of the Chinese economy. Australia may have to develop new fiscal and monetary policies that would help its economy in overcoming the different problems and at the same time China would have to take up new measures to fight economic crimes and get a stable economy.
