Husky buying Renaissance
Article Abstract:
Calgary, Alb.-based Husky Oil Ltd., which is a privately-owned oil company, will acquire Calgary, Alb.-based Renaissance Energy Ltd. for $2.58 billion. Husky, which is controlled by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing, will become one of the largest oil and gas firms in Canada after the deal is completed.
