Hussein Tells Interrogators He Didn't Direct Insurgency
Article Abstract:
The US has begun the process of interrogating Saddam Hussein to determine how large a role he has had in attacks against US soldiers. Hussein has denied any involvment in the post-war attacks against the US. He also maintains that his government did not have any weapons of mass destruction. US interrogators also tried to see if he knew anything about the fate of Lt. Cmdr. Michael Scott Speicher, a Navy pilot who was shot down during the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
