Ottawa to legalize marijuana for severe arthritis

The Canadian Health Department will allow patients with severe arthritis to use marijuana if physicians determine that other forms of pain medication are ineffective. The government's decision also includes patients with other diseases, such as AIDS and multiple sclerosis, to use medicinal marijuana.
