Recycler spins new products from old tires

Jatati Recovery and Manufacturing Ltd delves in the business of turning old tires into landscaping products, including retaining walls, patio stones, garden urns and parking blocks. The three-year-old company, based in St Thomas, Ontario, is among the estimated 30 firms firms in the recylcing business in Canada. Jatati Owner James Taylor personally came up with the specialized milling machine to fit his operation.

Management consultants engineer comeback
Article Abstract:
The Canadian market for management consulting has been estimated at more than C$2 billion annually, with about 4,000-5,000 firms and 20,000 practitioners. Industry growth has been spurred by factors such as government downsizing, rapid technological change and increasing acceptance of consultants' recommendations. Canada had around 6% share of the $40-billion global market for management consulting in 1995.
