Miller still believes in Priceline.com
Article Abstract:
Heidi Miller, the former CFO of Priceline.com, says the struggling online retailer still has got what it takes to become profitable but would not comment on how long it would take for the company to attain such a goal. However, Miller admits Priceline's short-term prospects are worst than when she joined the company in Feb 2000. She noted that during that time Priceline was hiring and not firing people. She resigned in early Nov 2000, after only eight months as Priceline's CFO, losing $125 million in stock options in the process.
