Article Abstract:
Kevin Rudd's request to the office of the Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, for access to documents relating to Downer and his departments involvement in Australian Wheat Board's dealings with Iraq and Jordan was rejected. Downer and government are adamant that they have nothing to hide in the AWB kickbacks in Iraq but their attempts to block parliamentary scrutiny smacks of arrogance.
