Surgical swipes
Article Abstract:
Several companies have developed products for the automation of hospitals and health care systems. Toronto-based Autros Hospital Systems Inc has created an innovative drug cart for West Park Hospital. The cart is a drug inventory management system that minimizes errors and inventory costs. Another Toronto-based company, Artificial Intelligence In Medicine Inc, has developed Cytobase, which creates electronic records of cervical Pap smears. The creation of such information technologies is affected by the absence of standards for technological innovations in the health care industry.
