E-opportunity abounds in China

US online service providers doing business in China report that a huge potential exist on the Chinese mainland. The companies, which estimate Internet users in the country to reach 30 million by 2003, however, cautions that the country is not without its list of problems. These include the absence of delivery support organizations similar to FedEx or UPS which are vital in moving goods purchased through e-commerce transactions.

USA could get billion Chinese customers
Article Abstract:
China has agreed to a sweeping agreement that paves the way for its entry into the World Trade Organization. Forged with US trade negotiators, the agreement calls for China to reduce duties on foreign goods from an average 22.1% to 17%. The deal also calls for China to lower trade barriers in key industries such as telecommunications, banking, automobiles and agriculture.
