Gates stays the course on software integration
Article Abstract:
Microsoft Corp's new Windows XP operating system will be the firm's most highly integrated software product in six years, and will be a result of the influence of Bill Gates himself in his role as the firm's chief software architect. XP will also have a built-in firewall, a sofware buffer to keep out hackers. Bill Gates sees the product as a boon to the computer industry as a whole as well as to consumers.
