A debt of gratitude for a valuable lesson
Article Abstract:
The integration of Little Rock Central High School, Little Rock, AR, was a testament to the moral strength of the American people's values and of the Constitution. The Little Rock incident also taught that segregation deprives both the separator and those who would be separated. The American Negroes were deprived of the right to attend public educational institutions and the whites were deprived of the opportunity to benefit from the diversity upon which America has thrived.
