Are all rights positive?

Not all rights have been demonstrated to be positive, as some researchers have asserted. Rights may be seen as the source of legitimate government, but they can be described as negative and positive where noninterference with government interests is enforced by government.

War is a form of collective violence that poses a set of challenges to the application of moral principles. A conflict between two themes of inculpation and exculpation in response to collective violence is identified.
