Article Abstract:
The author studied the institution of, value of, and effectiveness of family-friendly employee benefits offered by public organizations. She found that assessing the programs was difficult since the organizations generally did not assess the programs before or after implementing them. The author suggests that needs and cost assessments be conducted.
