China can say no to America
Article Abstract:
China's rapid economic development and cultural legacy can propel it to a position of power in world politics without the need to imitate Western society. The post-colonial situation in Asia which is largely dominated by the US is creating a sense of disempowerment and resentment. Consequently, more countries will be saying no to America, just as China is doing. China is preparing its youth to resolve the Taiwan issue by force and conflict with the US can be a protracted one. China can and will say no if and when it is in its interest.
