Article Abstract:

The principle behind democracy evolves around the principle of consent where an individual's will is recognized and upheld by the governing entities. This is the principle behind the electoral process which some regimes do not adopt. Democracy's relationship with the nation is viewed in the context of coexistence where the nation provides concrete manifestations of the ideology based on the people's will. The modern times have shifted the focus on democracy to legitimacy that applies to all individual and society's actions.

Pervasive in modern literature is the idea of the individual who is free from false human relationships, the illusory character of love and the ludicrousness of language.
