Predictors of African American representation in municipal government

Article Abstract:

African American representation in the municipal government can be accurately predicted by doing a statistical regression analysis of the percentage of African Americans in the municipal population and the number of African American personnel directors. The effect of per capita African American businesses and African American representation is also studied.
