Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Five candles, Three Evils
Article Abstract:
The heads of state of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would be celebrating the fifth anniversary in Shanghai of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in July 2006. China took over the responsibility in building measures among the countries, establishing confidence, working on settling disputes over borders and reaching agreements on ways for dealing with the Three Evils namely, religious fundamentalists, terrorists and splittists, in its first few years starting in 2001.
