Shock and suffering: But no peace dividend
Article Abstract:
Shock and compassion for countless thousands of victims of the tsunami tragedy raised hopes that the disaster could lead to a peace dividend in two of the worst affected areas, Sri Lanka and Aceh. However, as the longer term relief effort gets under way, divisions in Sri Lanka and Aceh are likely to become wider than they were before the tsunami hit.
