Trade facilitation and WTO rules: for a better harmonized customs system
Article Abstract:
The trade facilitation issue has been proposed to be listed on the agenda of the upcoming New Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations for a facilitation of the world trade. It has also been proposed that a provision limiting the amount of goods declared by an importer in an individual customs clearance for which the Dispute Settlement Body of the World Trade Organization can determine shall have a limitation, provided that the periodic outstanding of identical goods declared by the importer have been taken into account.
