The politics of genocide
Article Abstract:
Samantha Power's book, 'A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide' indicates that the distinctive feature of the twentieth century is the creation of the term 'genocide' and its institution as a legal configuration prohibiting the most extreme types of state sponsored terror. Although, this seems to suggest a significant progress in international law and correlative justice, genocide persists and its perpetrators ordinarily remain in power.

American justice as a pretext for anti-Americanism
Article Abstract:
Differences between anti-Americanism and 'criticism' of American justice are reviewed. America's foreign policies with regard to support for Israel's right wing and its export of cultural and gastronomical products lead to anti-Americanism while its domestic policies like its treatment of certain population groups and individuals lead to recurring criticism of its justice systems.
