Article Abstract:
The African civilization is on a decline as seen from the inadequacy of basic commodities and the deterioration of the people's habits and culture. Governments are virtually non-existent in countries such as Somalia, Liberia, Zaire and Chad due to attempts made by fundamentalists and ideological sects to take over. However, these efforts have failed since the people have adopted a pragmatic attitude towards radical societal changes.

A 'cold civil war' is erupting between the Hindus and Muslims of India, despite the economic boom the country is experiencing. India and the rest of the world must work towards reducing the concentration of wealth, privilege and authority within social groups, minorities and regions.
