Annotation: the development of antisocial behavior: an integrative causal model
Article Abstract:
A new integrative model of the sources and development of antisocial behaviour during childhood and adolescence places strong emphasis on the age of onset of antisocial behaviour. This is because the levels of influences from the multiple causal factors change with the age of onset of antisocial behaviour. It is proposed that individual differences in antisocial behaviour can be attributed to a single latent construct of antisocial propensity. It is also hypothesized that parenting is a significant element, as it plays a vital role in the developmental transformation of predisposition into antisocial behaviour.

Sensitivity to interference and response contingencies in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
Article Abstract:
Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder appear to lack approach tendencies when offered imminent reward, but they are not unresponsive to negative feedback and punishment. Motivational inhibition and executive inhibition appear to exert separate effects on such children.
