Blink rate in pediatric complex partial seizure disorder
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze spontaneous blink rate in children with complex partial epilepsy and normal children. A general mixed linear framework was utilized to carry out analyses that included fixed and random components. Statistical inferences were correlated with square-root transformed data. Experimental results suggested that children with complex partial epilepsy may have biological properties similar to children with schizophrenia.

Epidemiology of childhood disorders in a cross-cultural context
Article Abstract:
Cross-cultural psychiatric epidemiology studies the same mental illness in different cultures, thus bringing out social factors in disease etiology. The Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) and its parallel tests for teachers and youth give the most suitable data for cross-cultural comparisons. The quantitative method of epidemiological research accurately groups symptoms that are independent of arbitrary criteria.
