Child and adolescent sex abuse perpetrators: a review of the research literature
Article Abstract:
Child and adolescent sex abuse perpetration has been recognized as the separate field of research recently and the problem of definition has hampered an exact assessment of the phenomena. Frequently perpetrators of sex abuse were themselves found to be victims of abuse earlier in their lives and were often part of dysfunctional families. The treatment programs for this client group has diversified, though not many of these have been examined properly. There is need for adopting consensus definitions of targets and standards and for taking up long-term outcome studies of these sex abuse perpetrators.

The Observer 3.0 for DOS is an observational data collection and analysis software package. It is comprised of three integrated modules, configuration, recording and analysis, and comes with a hardware key. One of the most impressive features of this observational research software is its ability to connect observational data files with data recorded externally. One of the disadvantages of this program is its price, with the 'base' package priced at a minimum of 1,600 pounds sterling.
