Child responses to parental conflict and their effect on adjustment: a study of triadic relations
Article Abstract:
A research to determine specific responses of children to parental conflict and its effect to their functioning was conducted. The study involved 156 2-parent families. The results indicate that both boys and girls display similar aggressive behaviors during family interaction and in response to parental conflict. However, there was no significant findings for child responses in relation to increased depressive functioning.
