Dreams as portraits of self and group interaction
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to decode the unconscious elements that the dreams disguised, with the aid of patient's associations with self and self in relation to other groups. It reveals that patients found it difficult to communicate about their dreams in group setting, and hence the therapist should help the group to deepen awareness and capacity to reflect on what dream imagery conveys.

The group therapist's shame: a much undiscussed topic
Article Abstract:
The shame and the group therapist, with regard to potentially shameful topics and dynamics that induces shame are examined. The mitigation of shame and the enhancement of the leader's self-esteem in dispatching the role and the functions of group therapist are suggested.

A plea for greater recognition and appreciation of our group members' courage
Article Abstract:
A theoretical rationale for courage recognition as a central and crucial leadership function from the perspective of self-psychology is presented. Suggestions are offered to assist the group therapist in recognizing and calling attention to courageous behaviors.
